This is a new take on “Create in me a clean heart, O God.” But the message is the same. This dignified anthem with organ accompaniment, is also a prayer before the offering, or communion. The traditional nature of the melody and arrangement recalls the church of ancient times, yet the strength of the writing reveals its modern placement.
