A Song for St. Stephen is freely based on the 'Chorale' melody from Joubert's oratorio Wings of Faith. The work was commissioned by the BCSO Chorus and Orchestra and is scored for SATB Soli, Junior and Senior Youth Choirs, Adult Mixed Choir and Orchestra. Here the Orchestra is reduced for Organ, and maybe performed thus.
