violin:piano is a work by Kevin Volans for Violin and Piano, in which the two instruments play at different tempi. This unusual and challenging piece was commissioned by Chris Alexander and premiered by himself and Waldo Alexander at the Ultraschall Festival, Berlin in 2012. A full performance of this work lasts around 25 minutes. This includes both the Violin and Piano parts
