Die Mauz-Klarinettenschule (Deutsches und Böhm-System) richtet sich an Anfänger und ist für den Einzel- und Gruppenunterricht geeignet. Sie erscheint in drei Bänden, zu denen jeweils auch ein Spielbuch erhältlich ist. Durch leichte Verständlichkeit, die Auswahl von zahlreichen Liedern sowie durchgehend vierfarbige Illustrationen sollen gezielt jüngere Klarinettenschüler ab etwa 8 Jahren angesprochen werden.Nun ist Band 1 dieser mittlerweile zum Standardwerk avancierten Schule auch mit CD lieferbar. Die Spielfreude wird dadurch noch gesteigert, denn auf der CD sind viele Stücke sowohl mit Klarinette als auch als Play-Along-Version zum Mitspielen enthalten. Einige schnelle Stücke sind außerdem in langsamerem Tempo zum Üben eingespielt.

The Mauz clarinet method (German and Böhm system) is aimed at beginners and is suitable for individual or group lessons. It is published in three volumes, each of which has a tune book available to go with it. Easy to understand, with a large selection of songs and illustrations in four colours throughout, this method is designed to appeal to younger clarinettists from the age of about 8.Now volume 1 of this method, which has by now established itself as a standard work, is also available with a CD. This makes it even more fun to play, for the CD contains many of the pieces both with clarinet and as a play-along accompaniment. Some of the faster pieces are also recorded at a slower tempo for practice.
