Arranged for Medium-Low Voice with Piano accompaniment. Most of the arias in this collection were written in the 1600s and 1700s by composers who were intent on expressing their feelings and entertaining their listeners. They wrote for the present and didn't write many instructions for their performers as they would always be present when their music was performed. However, the success of their music transcended their lifetimes, and over the years editions have become nothing like their original forms. This edition seeks to return to the composers' original intentions and produce an authoritative and faithful re-production of their works.
