Rossini: Una voce poco fa (Harmonie)

Italian composer Gioacchino Rossini is undoubtedly best known for his opera The Barber of Séville. This opera features the soprano aria ‘Una voce poco fa’, which has been performed by many divas including Maria Callas, Teresa Berganza and Kathleen Battle. This transcription by Gerard Posch has been written for alto saxophone and concert band, however the saxophone solo can also be sung by a soprano – as in the original aria
